Road resurfacing works in Cleethorpes during October
A number of roads in Cleethorpes will be resurfaced in early October by North East Lincolnshire Council’s regeneration services partnership with Cofely.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and local diversion routes set up for any overnight closures.
Resurfacing work will start on 3 October 2014 on the A1099 between the Isaac’s Hill roundabout and St Peter’s Avenue, and take one night to complete.
A full overnight road closure will be in place between 7pm and 6am while the road is resurfaced and drivers are advised to plan an alternative route at this times.
Temporary daytime closures will also be in place for two weeks from 6 October for resurfacing works on the promenade in Cleethorpes.
Advanced warning signs will be erected prior to start of works advising motorists of closure dates.
Work will be split into two phases:
• North promenade from 6 October to 10 October 2014
• Central promenade from 13 October to 17 October 2014
The works are being managed on behalf of the council by Cofely, who would like to apologise in advance for any disruption caused.
